    Of course it's a pressing issue, especially in England and Wales!

    Although it is an issue that must be tackled at some point, if we don't want our future generations to all be obese, I do not think that it is the most important issue right now. The goverment should focus on other health issues such as drug and alchohol abuse.

Whats the problem?


Did you know in wales 26% of the under 18 population is obese? 2% more than in England? 8% more than in America? The statistics are shocking, even more so when you realise that the habits picked up as children affect you in later life. We know something needs to be done about this issue, but what?

Who are we?

Hi, we want to raise awareness of a issue, that is increasing in it's urgency to be adressed, childhood obesity. If you didnt think it was an issue, think again, it is. So what can be done about this pressing issue? Admittedly not much at the moment. Unfortunately childhood obesity is an issue that the goverment is choosing to ignore, seemingly thinking if they don't think about it it'll 'go away', just to let you know, it wont. Follow this blog to learn more ways to help this cause and the dangers that lie ahead.
